Mindfulness has become a bit of a key phrases in recent times. Being present in the moment, helps us achieve clarity and helps calm the mind. From the very moment we wake up we are bombarded by a sensory overload. There’s many stresses and strains we face on a daily basis. By spending just 30 minutes a day being mindful, it can help improve our mental well being, reduce stress levels and anxieties.
Do you need to practice meditation to be mindful.
It’s a common misconception that you need to meditate to be mindful. This is not strictly true. Although, menditation helps for mindfullness it’s not always necessary. How an indivdual practices mindfulness it completely their choice. It doesn’t always have to take place in a quite studio free from distractions. You can practice on the way to work, or in the gym. Taking 30 mins a day for mindfulness will have a great impact, the key is getting into a routine habit of practicing and sticking to it!
